Greetings,
I am Reza Abusaidi, D.C. the author of tailbone.com and the chiropractor for this site. I would like to take this opportunity and appreciate your effort to visit this site. I hope you find the following helpful:
Personal Background:
I was raised in the southeast region of Iran, where Chiropractic was unknown. My higher education started in California at Gavilan College. Later, I continued my education at San Jose State University as a Pre-Med student, majoring in Chemistry. I was introduced to Chiropractic and Palmer College while studying chemistry at SJSU. After discovering the benefits of chiropractic, I decided to dedicate my life to studying and practicing chiropractic, a natural alternative healthcare. It was a great privilege for me to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic West where I began my professional education about the art, science and philosophy of chiropractic.
As a husband and father, I am blessed by my family. Both of my children are in the school band. They play Tuba & Trombone. It is a great pleasure for me to attend the children's concerts and video tape them. We enjoy traveling to the California coast and taking digital photographs of beautiful California landscapes. My hobbies include improvised music, visual arts, photography and videography.
Clinical Background:
I graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic-West in 1991. As a chiropractor, I have been studying, researching and treating tailbone pain or coccygodynia since 1991. The complexity of tail bone pain has provided me with a continuous learning experience.
My expertise in the treating the tailbone pain is based on my clinical education, specific observation, the number of cases that I have treated and my ongoing research. It has been my honor to serve the many patients who have provided significant clinical feedback during the treatment of chronic or complex coccyx pain. The combination of the patients' feedback and reviewing research studies or articles related to tailbone pain have provided me with the knowledge and experience to treat most traumatic tailbone pain successfully. Since 1991, I have been providing hundreds of internal or external coccyx adjustment for patients overseas and in California. Over the years, I have developed very gentle treatment protocols for tailbone pain. In my opinion (based on my observation and patients' feedback), these treatment protocols can resolve or reduce specific types of tailbone pain and injury. It is my purpose to inform the tailbone sufferers about the alternative non-surgical therapy for tailbone pain and help my patients to find relief and/or fully recover from tailbone pain.
